Once upon a time in the library of a quiet village, there was a man named Curtis who loved to talk—about everything and nothing at all. His endless yapping often annoyed everyone, especially Susan, the village librarian. She valued peace and quiet, and Curtis's chatter disrupted her work and her peace of mind.
One sunny afternoon, as Curtis launched into another lengthy story about his latest fishing trip, Susan gently placed her hand on his shoulder. But Curtis just kept going, oblivious to her growing impatience.
Finally, Susan sighed and decided she needed to take stronger measures. She gently but firmly interrupted him and said, "Curtis, I appreciate your stories, but I need silence to focus. Please, can we have some quiet?" Her tone was calm but resolute.
Curtis finally paused. No longer in the library, he wasn't sure where he was at all. Susan never had to ask him to be quiet again.
